Event: W10 Spring Games followed by team drinks

    Date: Saturday 8th April 2017

Saturday 8th April saw the first W10 Games of 2017 – one of our favourite events of the year!

It’s always a fun filled action packed day, bringing more members and non-members together for another series of challenging teams events – and it did not disappoint this time either.

The day saw 6 teams complete across three events, with the winning team being that with the lowest total time for completion.

Competitors found themselves biking, rowing, jumping, sled pushing, pulling, burpee-ing, lunging and Airdyne-ing to their physical limits, doing their best to help their team to the fastest possible finish time.

Congratulations to Team Daisy aka Daisy Dukes who took the winners title this time around (although we’re going to have to keep a close eye on this one next year as she won the last games too! Coincidence or not…who knows.) In the winning team was also Stefania, Kevin, Nic, Harry, Rich and Rich’s friend who came along for the day too – well done all.

It was also Nick’s (Our Operations Manager) first W10 Games – maybe went a bit too hard too quickly as this is how he ended up…In a heap on the floor, forcing out a little smile and trying to avoid bringing up his lunch!

Oh…and our resident kiwi coach Kris too…

A big shout to everyone who came down and gave it their all, it made for another fantastic day.

The next W10 Games will be on October 21st and we hope to see as many of you there as possible for some friendly competition, banter and perhaps even a celebratory drink (or ten!)
